    July 8, 2025 – We’re excited to share that TACTUN has received its second U.S. patent – this time protecting our cloud-based configuration platform for industrial testing machines.

    What This Means – and Why It Matters

    TACTUN’s platform was designed to eliminate the traditional friction in custom machine development – especially for materials testing equipment, where every sensor, actuator, grip, and control logic can vary by test standard or customer.

    Until now, configuring a testing machine meant custom programming every time – new controller logic, new desktop software, new hardware mappings. Even small changes could mean weeks of engineering time.

    TACTUN’s newly patented approach changes that:

    • Engineers can fully configure a test machine from the cloud – before it’s even built
    • The platform adapts available options based on selected controller type, test standards, or device configuration
    • When the hardware arrives, it’s ready to use – just plug it in and load the configuration you built in the cloud. There’s no need for embedded firmware development or custom software coding – the system is ready to run.
    • End-user apps are generated automatically – tailored to each machine, white-labeled with the manufacturer’s branding

    The TACTUN platform enables manufacturers to build and deploy tailored machine applications without relying on traditional PLC/PAC programming or complex embedded systems. The v1.0 software allows materials testing machine manufacturers to:
