Yes. However, this model is designed to empower you to build new revenue streams by offering machines as a service. You can charge your customers based on usage while we handle the backend infrastructure, billing, and updates—so you can focus on delivering value.
Yes. You can switch at any time by paying the full price of the controller as defined in the Own & Deploy plan.
Absolutely. Your machines are your products. With the Own & Deploy plan, even the controller can be fully white-labeled with your branding.
No. Both plans include unlimited app generation. You can create applications for internal use or for different customers at no additional cost. We don’t charge per deployment or per user—you control how you monetize and distribute the software.
No. We support both small-scale and large-scale production. You can order as few as 1 controller.
It depends on the scope. If the requested functionality has broad applicability, we may agree to develop it with a small fee and make it public. For private, customer-specific features or algorithms, we’re happy to deliver them as proprietary, based on mutually agreed terms.
We follow GDPR and relevant US data privacy regulations. By default, any stored data is anonymized. We only collect and retain data necessary for support, analytics, and system health monitoring—and only with your or your customer’s consent. The data remains accessible to you (the machine builder) to ensure you can provide effective support and troubleshooting, but we never sell or share data with third parties.
Yes. Discounts are automatically applied based on quantity. Please refer to the volume discount table above for details.
Delivery time varies:
• Prebuilt controllers: ~1 month
• Custom-designed controllers: Up to 5 months depending on complexity.
Yes. Every purchase includes 2 hours of online training. For orders of 50+ units, we also offer on-site training and integration support.
We respond within 12 hours for standard cases. For emergencies, a 24/7 hotline is available. Note: While TACTUN supports controller and software issues, end-customer machine support is your responsibility as the machine builder.
Yes. For bulk orders (50+ units), we can provide CE and UL certification support.
Our FPGA-based controller supports closed-loop rates up to 100 kHz, with even higher rates possible in special configurations.
Yes. Our platform supports complex conditional logic, interlocks, and real-time actions through the Rules and Sequencer interface.
Yes. The Dynamic plan supports offline long-duration tests. Once the test is started, connectivity is no longer required unless configured otherwise.
Yes. We support high-speed motion, including applications with 10 kHz sine wave control for rheological testing.
Yes. Integration is possible, depending on the selected controller configuration. Let’s discuss your specific requirements.
Yes. This is the default approach. We provide mechanical drawings and support for easy integration into your enclosure.
Data is logged directly on the controller (SD card or USB). In the Connect & Scale plan, cloud-based logging is also available. When an HMI or host PC connects, data is synced automatically to keep the controller’s storage optimized.
Yes. You can enable raw data logging and define your own data capture settings.
• Own & Deploy: Updates are delivered manually during the first year or via optional update packages (20% of the unit price).
• Connect & Scale: Supports full over-the-air (OTA) updates anytime at no extra cost.
Specs vary by configuration. By default, our controllers are built for lab environments—not for outdoor or extreme use. Full specs are provided once your configuration is finalized.
Yes. Our platform supports both pneumatic and hydraulic actuation.
Yes, for multi-axis applications (up to 9 axes supported). While it’s not ideal for classic CNC-style coordinated motion (e.g., 3D printing), it excels in test systems, cranes, simulators, and heavy machinery.
Yes. Our wizard interface and Sequencer allow for loops, conditional logic, mathematical operations, and full-stage programming.
Yes. While full DIY support is coming soon, we currently assist with multilingual UIs upon request.
Yes. Simulation features are available to preview application logic before going live.
Yes. TACTUN’s “Product Type” system lets you reuse core logic while customizing UI per customer.
• Own & Deploy: Yes, fully offline use is supported.
• Connect & Scale: Requires internet or edge connectivity.
Specs depend on your selected configuration. We’ll provide detailed specs once your requirements are finalized.
Yes. AI features require a custom configuration with embedded NVIDIA Jetson modules.
We abstract the complexity. Whether logic runs on FPGA, Linux OS, HMI, or Cloud is managed by our team—ensuring performance and reliability without burdening you with technical overhead.
